Technical Support |
In an effort to create a true open source community around Bondware and EASE, EdgeNet has created www.easeforum.com. The easeforum is the central repository for software, information and support for all EASE based products. As such, EdgeNet encourages the use of the easeforum as the primary technical support vehicle for Bondware and EASE. All support questions should be posed in the forums section of www.easeforum.com. By creating a tech support dialog on the easeforum, we will build a knowledge base accessible to all participants in the EASE community and foster the exchange of information within the membership group. Telephone support will be available at a cost of $75 per hour. |

It's a wonderful thing to see tech support available online, but it sure does suck that resellers and developers will now have to pay $75/hr to get answers to immediate questions. I don't know about most people, but I sure can't afford to pay $75/hr just to get answers to software that should be supported as part of our licensing agreement.

Agreed. I'm not inclined to give a software vendor a PERMANENT piece of my companies monthly revenue if they can't support their own product.
Now if it was 100% documented and it worked 100% out of the box that would be different. I'm still waiting to see what the damn thing looks like since the Unlock code generator/credit card form is not working now. The hosting industry doesnt need another Micro$oft.
