Announcing Bondware Version 1.5.5!

In our continued effort to deliver high value web deployed business solutions, the staff at the easeforum is proud to announce the release of Bondware Version 1.5.5.

The newest version of Bondware is available for immediate download in the file library section of the easeforum. For those resellers who are currently running Linux versions of Bondware with version numbers earlier than 1.5.2, it is strongly recommended that you review the installation document prior to completing the upgrade.

1.5.5 Features
  • Included the Subject of the thread that was repied to in automated email that is sent out in the forums
  • Changed the length of MetaKeyword Field to 2000
  • Changed character limit of the comment box to 20000 characters in News Articles
  • Changed character limit of the reply body box to 20000 characters in the Forums
  • Changed character limit of the Message body to 20000 characters to other members
  • Changed the Archives to base the "published" date on when the article was activated, not created


1.5.5 Bug Fixes
  • Changed the article order on the backend to be sorted by priority, headline like the front

I'd be interested in seeing a document on the recommended methods of moving bondware sites onto a new box and upgrading them at the same time.
