| Bondware's Subscription Manager is proving to be a winner for the Daily News Journal and Williamson County Review Appeal. Subscription Manager is an e-commerce module that can be added to a Bondware publisher site. New or existing subscribers can order online using a credit card. Within the first 90 days the DNJ had 200 new subscribers or renewals online. As a result of the online success, the Williamson Review Appeal began using Subscription Manager to take renewals and new subscribers online. In the first month, nearly 100 new subscriptions or renewals were processed through the site. Since Subscription Manager works like all Bondware software, it's very easy to make price changes or offer sales. Like a news article, price changes and sales can be placed in a "pending" section and updated with the click of a button. The E-commerce feature may also be used to sell reprints, photos and other items online, even T-shirts. Future versions of Bondware will allow newspapers and newsletters to accept classifieds online with credit card payment. |
