AdMan is More than Ads
If you're not managing a newspaper or a homeowner association, you probably haven't thought much about adding Bondware's Ad Manager module to your site. But there is a lot more capability in AdMan than just promoting specials at Sam's Dry Goods.

Recently Bondware used the AdMan capabilities to set up a series of rotating testimonials, each linking to a case study of how Bondware solved a business problem. The AdMan module allowed us to rotate this content on the front page of our site, give weight to the rotations and measure how many viewers were clicking through to the case studies.

Rotating the information gave us fresh content on the site when a new visitor arrived. Furthermore, search engines, like Google, and web crawlers saw new content each time they arrived which gives a positive "lift" to search rankings.

If you want to keep content "alive" on your website-- to attract new visitors and search engines, try putting rotating content into an Ad Manager module. It's not just for newspapers any more.

Thanks for The Kind Words
Speaking of testimonials, we'd like to thank Kevin Slimp, Director of the Institute of Newspaper Technology:

  • "After two years of working with Bondware to host my website, I couldn't be more pleased. I have a professional looking, attractive site, with minimal effort. I receive messages from visitors on a regular basis about how much they love the site. I've been very impressed with the service newspapers receive from Bondware: attractive, effective sites, with minimal time investment. They're a perfect fit for small newspapers."

If you haven't attended a Kevin Slimp seminar or have read his columns on newspaper technology, then head over to his Bondware site, www.kevinslimp.com. He's a great resource for editors, designers and publishers struggling to keep up with the latest publishing software and hardware.

We like hearing from our customers. Please send us your testimonials, tips or experiences with Bondware so we can pass along ideas to others in the Bondware Community.
